Situated at the highland of Chamba the beautiful Khajjiar was named as "Mini Switzerland" by the Swiss Envoy Willy P. Blazer. One might feel like Switzerland when visiting here due to the similarity between terrains of this place & Swiss mountains.

Ladakh

Ladakh "The moon land on earth" is situated in the Trans Himalayas. It is also known as the land of High mountain passes. The world's highest motorable road is situated here and The world's highest motorable mountain pass Umling La (5882m. /19300 ft.) is also here.
