Rohtang Pass

Rohtang pass is situated on the old Leh-Manali highway at the height of 3978m / 13, 058 ft. This pass connects Kullu-Manali valley with Lahaul valley. This pass gets closed during winters due to heavy snowfalls. Before construction of Atal Tunnel in 2020 it was the only lifeline road for the people of Lahaul & due to closing of this pass in winters the entire Lahaul valley used to disconnect with the world & only helicopter facility was available for people during emergencies. The view from here is unforgettable & it is a lifetime experience for anyone.
